Steel Fighters Titles: All 22 Requirements and Buffs

Titles are the real progression system in Steel Fighters. They are permanent unlocks with published percentage buffs — the only hard power numbers the game gives players — and they cost nothing but time. Twenty-two are documented as of October 2026.

This page lists every title with its exact requirement and buff, groups them by what they actually improve, and gives a chase order. The requirement numbers come from a full table published October 21, 2026 and match what players see in the in-game Rewards area.

How Titles Work

  • Permanent. Once unlocked, a title stays on your account.
  • Progress is visible in game. The Rewards section tracks every counter — boss kills, junk delivered, floors cleared.
  • Buffs are percentages, applied to the stat named in the table.
  • Stacking is unconfirmed. The game does not document whether two titles can be equipped at once or whether all owned buffs apply passively. Community reports lean toward one active title, but no official source confirms it.

Treat the stacking question as the one unknown on this page. Everything else is a published counter and a published percentage.

Which Titles to Chase, Keep, and Track

Chase order matters more than raw buff size, because the requirements overlap with things you are doing anyway.

Phase Titles Why this order
First session Rookie, Scrapper Free. Level 10 and 100 junk arrive without trying
First week Tower Climber, Master Builder, Lever Lord Floor 100 and lever pulls are your normal loop
Second week Junk Tycoon, Collector, Engineer Scrap and Luck start compounding into better sets
Mid game Arena Legend, Fusion Master, Reborn Requires a stable set and a scrap surplus
Long haul Star Voyager, Phoenix, Unstoppable, Steel Champion Multi-week counters or a pass purchase
PvP / Space sidequests Duelist, Astronaut, Raider Useful, but only after the main ladder stalls

The logic: Luck and Scrap titles compound, Cash titles pay linearly, Damage titles only matter when you are pushing. Early on, a +14% Cash title is worth more than a +18% Arena Damage title because Cash buys the pulls that build the set.

Titles that look better than they are

  • Boss Slayer (+9%) — 100 bosses sounds fast, but boss kills are gated by the 40-minute respawn. It is a slow +9% that most players finish by accident.
  • Duelist (+14% Walk Speed) — speed is convenience. It shortens travel time, not clear time.
  • Astronaut (+18% Walk Speed) — same problem, plus it requires floor 125 in Space.
  • Rookie (+4%) — take it because it is free, not because 4% matters.

None of these are wasted. They are simply lower priority than a Luck title you will still be using at floor 300.

The titles worth building around

  • Collector (+22% Luck) — the largest Luck buff, tied to the lever you already pull. Every rare part afterwards is cheaper.
  • Star Voyager and Phoenix (+32% Cash each) — the two biggest economic buffs in the game. Floor 300 and seven rebirths are both long roads, but nothing else pays like them.
  • Unstoppable (+27% Arena Damage) — the biggest damage buff, and a 250-floor streak is a byproduct of a strong set rather than a separate grind.
  • Junk Tycoon (+22% Scrap) — Scrap is the part economy's fuel. A fifth more Scrap per delivery shortens every set you build afterwards.

How to track title progress without guessing

The in-game Rewards area is the only authoritative tracker. It shows counters, not estimates. There is no public API and no official Trello, so third-party trackers are manual.

A simple routine: screenshot the Rewards panel once a week. The five counters that move slowly — floors, bosses, raids, PvP wins, rebirths — are the ones worth checking; lever pulls and junk deliveries move fast enough that you will notice the unlock.

Check before you rebirth

Rebirth resets progress, and the game does not publish exactly what survives. Bank your floor and delivery titles first, then rebirth — the permanent buffs are the part you keep.

FAQ

How many titles are in Steel Fighters? 22 are documented as of October 2026, across combat, economy, luck and utility.

What is the best title? For value, Collector (+22% Luck) and Star Voyager or Phoenix (+32% Cash). For a new account, Rookie and Scrapper because they are free.

Can you equip more than one title at a time? Unconfirmed. The game documents permanent unlocks but not whether buffs stack. Assume one active title until proven otherwise.

Do titles reset on rebirth? Titles are described as permanent unlocks, so they should survive. The game does not publish a full rebirth reset list — bank the slow counters first.
