How Steel Fighters arena floors pay out, the October cap changes, the 100/200/300 milestones, both Titans on a 40-minute timer, and how to break a stuck floor.
Steel Fighters Floors and Bosses: Caps, Milestones, Stuck Rooms
The arena in Steel Fighters is endless — there is no final floor to beat, only a wall you have not broken yet. Floors pay Cash and Scrap, deeper floors pay more, and the October update rewrote the payout rules in ways that change when you should push and when you should farm.
This page covers the current payout structure, the milestone titles at floors 100, 200 and 300, both world bosses and their 40-minute respawn, and a concrete checklist for the moment a floor stops falling.

How Arena Floors Work
Each floor is a fight; winning moves you up one, losing stops the run. There is no energy cost and no daily limit, which makes the arena the default activity whenever you are not farming parts.
- Payout: every cleared floor gives Cash and Scrap.
- Scaling: deeper floors pay more, and Update 1 made the Arena Cash cap rise with floor count, with a faster rise past floor 300.
- Scrap cap: a single Arena Scrap drop caps at 25,000. The x2 Drops pass and the Arena Frenzy event can push past that cap; nothing else does.
- Streaks: consecutive cleared floors are tracked separately from total floors, and both feed titles (Unstoppable needs a 250-floor streak, Gladiator needs 5,000 total).
The practical read: the arena is your Cash engine, the Junkyard is your Scrap engine, and the cap is the reason you eventually have to leave the arena to progress.
What the October Update Changed
Update 1 (October 23, 2026) touched payouts more than it touched combat. The documented changes:
| Change | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Arena Cash cap rises with floor count, faster past 300 | Deep pushes are worth more than repeated shallow runs |
| Arena Scrap single-drop cap set at 25K | Scrap farming has a hard ceiling per drop |
| x2 Money, Money Potion, x2 Drops, Black Hole Money now multiply total Cash | Stacking these before a big payout is now correct |
| Bosses respawn every 40 minutes | Bosses became a scheduled activity, not a one-off |
| Black Hole buff lasts 15 minutes | Time your Space trips around it |
| Trials and Infinite mode difficulty reduced | Space is more accessible than at launch |
The multiplier change is the sleeper buff. If you were redeeming a Money Potion at the start of a session, redeem it right before a deep floor push or a boss kill instead.
Floor milestones and the titles they unlock
| Floor | Title unlocked | Buff |
|---|---|---|
| 100 | Tower Climber | +14% Cash |
| 125 (Space) | Astronaut | +18% Walk Speed |
| 200 | Arena Legend | +27% Cash |
| 300 | Star Voyager | +32% Cash |
Floor 100 is the first goal that actually changes your income, and it is reachable with one complete six-part robot plus a team. Floors 200 and 300 are where the Cash cap change starts paying off, but they are also where mismatched part sets stop working.
Note the split: 100, 200 and 300 are arena floors, while 125 is a Space floor. Space is a separate ladder with its own enemies and its own Scrap economy.
Bosses and Server Events
Steel Fighters has two named world bosses:
| Boss | Location | Respawn | Drops |
|---|---|---|---|
| Junkyard Titan | Junkyard overworld | 40 minutes | Cash, Scrap and extras |
| Space Titan | Space | 40 minutes | Cash, Scrap and extras |
Neither boss has published health, damage or exact spawn coordinates — anyone quoting a Titan HP number is inventing it. What is documented is the timer and the fact that boss kills pay more than normal floors, which means the correct behavior is to kill both Titans once per 40-minute window if you can reach them.
Arena floors also contain bosses, but they are not named and their floor numbers are not published. They function as difficulty spikes rather than loot piñatas.
Boss Cash is affected by the multiplier change and by the Arena Frenzy event, which adds +200% boss Cash for three minutes. If a Frenzy starts while a Titan is up, that is the highest-value three minutes in the game.
Server events worth waiting for
Six server events rotate. The ones that change your farming plan:
| Event | Duration | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Arena Frenzy | 3 min | Arena x2 Scrap, boss +200% Cash (bought with Robux, server-wide) |
| Golden Hour | 1 min | Junkyard x2 Scrap plus a speed boost |
| Lucky Lever | 2 min 20 s | Server-wide x3 lever Luck |
| Lightning Storm | 20 s | Robots overload, junk becomes rarer |
| Meteor Shower | 20 s | Overclocked treasure spawns |
Do not idle through a Lucky Lever if you have Scrap banked — x3 Luck for two minutes is the best part-pulling window in the game. Do not start a deep push during a 20-second event; you will miss it.
Stuck Floors and the Space Ladder
In order, stop at the first item that is true:
- Is your main robot a complete six-part set? If not, go close it. The +10% Perfect bonus is usually the missing 10%.
- Are you running solo? Team play gives +50% Cash, and more importantly more bodies in the arena. Join a team before retrying.
- Is your Scrap unspent? Banked Scrap does nothing. Pull parts or upgrade.
- Are you retrying during a dead window? Wait for a Lucky Lever to improve your set, or a Golden Hour to refill Scrap.
- Is a rebirth available and cheap for you? Rebirth is a permanent-buff reset; the game does not publish exactly what resets, so bank titles first and treat the first rebirth as a test.
- Are you pushing the wrong ladder? If arena floors stall, Space floors may pay better Scrap per minute at your current set.
Most "stuck" reports are item 1 or item 3.
Space: the second ladder
Space is not a reskin of the Junkyard. Its Junkyard variant pays x2.5 Scrap, it has its own Titan, its own floor 125 milestone, and systems the community calls Star Machine and Trials. Update 1 lowered Trials and Infinite mode difficulty, which makes Space a reasonable mid-game destination rather than an endgame trophy.
Go to Space when your arena income plateaus and your Scrap needs are the bottleneck. Do not go at floor 40 expecting a different game — the enemies scale too.
FAQ
Is there a final floor in Steel Fighters? No. The arena is endless; the highest documented milestone is floor 300 for Star Voyager.
How often do bosses respawn? Every 40 minutes for both the Junkyard Titan and the Space Titan, per the October patch notes.
Why is my Scrap stuck at 25,000 per drop? That is the Arena Scrap cap introduced in Update 1. The x2 Drops pass and Arena Frenzy can exceed it; normal drops cannot.
What is the fastest way to reach floor 100? One complete six-part robot, a team for the +50% Cash, and a Lucky Lever session to close your set before pushing.
