Every Save the Krusty Krab troublemaker in order, from Plankton to the Tattletale Strangler, plus the counters and items that stop each one.
Save the Krusty Krab Bosses and Troublemakers: Every Threat and How to Stop It
Save the Krusty Krab interrupts its own restaurant loop on a schedule. From Day 2 onward, something arrives to steal, flood, break or inspect — and the crew that treats these as random events loses stations, customers and stars to them every single night.
The spawn order below is the pattern players have documented across runs. Treat the days as reliable and the exact mechanics as player-reported, because the game is in active development and the October 23 update changed the event layer.

The Troublemaker Schedule
| Day | Threat | What it does | Counter |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 | Plankton | Tries to steal the Krabby Patty secret formula | Chase him off; do not leave the register unmanned |
| 4 | Dirty Bubble | Floods the floor and slows movement | Mop, or use the water gun |
| 6 | Man Ray | Attacks the line and damages stations | Fire extinguisher or Orb of Confusion |
| 7 | Health Inspector | Orders a Nasty Patty and inspects the restaurant | Build the order exactly as printed |
| 9 | Tattletale Strangler | Grabs crew members mid-shift | Orb of Confusion |
| Any | Hash-Slinging Slasher | Appears when the trash situation gets bad | Empty the bins before they overflow |
| Any | Sleeping customers | Take up tables with a smoke and Z icon | Interact to wake and seat them elsewhere |
| Event | The Flying Dutchman | Special offer on every fifth night during Halloween | Read the offer before accepting |
The days are not a strict calendar — a bad shift can push a threat later, and a skipped night does not cancel it. What matters is the order: Plankton teaches you that the formula is an object, Dirty Bubble teaches you that the floor is a resource, and Man Ray teaches you that stations can be destroyed.
Plankton (Day 2): The Formula Is a Physical Object
Plankton does not fight the crew; he goes for the safe. If he reaches it, the restaurant loses the formula and the shift takes a hit that no amount of good cooking recovers.
Three things work:
- Keep one player near the register. Plankton's route runs through the front of the house, and a crew that all disappears into the kitchen gives him a free run.
- Chase, do not trade hits. He is fast and small; the goal is to interrupt the theft, not to defeat him.
- Do not abandon a live grill to chase. A fire costs more than a stolen formula attempt that you can interrupt on the way back.
Dirty Bubble (Day 4): The Floor Fight
The Dirty Bubble floods the dining room and makes every trip slower. The mop is the free answer; the water gun is the fast one. Both work, and the difference is time: mopping clears a patch, the water gun clears a path.
The mistake is treating the flood as a cosmetic problem. Delivery players lose seconds on every table, and those seconds compound into cold food and angry customers. If the floor is wet and you are carrying a tray, clear a lane first.
Man Ray (Day 6): The Station Breaker
Man Ray is the first threat that can destroy equipment. He hits the line, and damaged stations need a separate repair action before they work again — a broken grill is not fixed by waiting.
Two counters exist:
- Fire extinguisher. Pearl carries one as part of her character kit, which is the cheapest way to guarantee the crew has an answer.
- Orb of Confusion. Patrick carries one, and the Night Shop sells the item for cash. It stops Man Ray long enough for the crew to repair and reset.
If neither is available, the fight becomes a repair race: one player keeps him occupied while another repairs the station. Do not let the whole crew pile onto him — the queue does not stop while you fight.
Health Inspector (Day 7): A Ticket, Not a Fight
The Health Inspector does not need to be defeated. He orders a Nasty Patty, and the order must be built exactly as printed — the trap is assuming it is a normal burger. Read the ticket, build it, serve it, and keep the floor clean while he is in the building.
The related failure state is the trash. Bins that overflow summon the Hash-Slinging Slasher, so the Health Inspector night is the worst possible time to skip cleanup.
Tattletale Strangler (Day 9): The Grab
The Strangler grabs crew members, and a grabbed player is out of the shift until freed. The Orb of Confusion is the clean counter; a teammate can also intervene physically. This is the night to have a floater who is not tied to a station, because a grab on the only cook ends the shift.
The Flying Dutchman (Halloween Event): Read Before You Accept
During the live Halloween event (October 23 to November 2, 2026), the Flying Dutchman arrives on every fifth night with a special offer. Accepting has both a reward and a penalty — the game does not tell you which is which until you commit. Crews that accept blind often trade a clean shift for a cosmetic or a cash hit.
The safe approach: finish the current rush, collect the tables, and only then talk to him. The full event breakdown is on the Halloween event page.
Threats That Are Not Bosses
Three problems do not get a day on the schedule but cost more money than any boss:
- Sleeping customers block tables. Wake them and reseat them; a full restaurant with two sleepers is a restaurant with two fewer seats.
- Overflowing trash summons the Hash-Slinging Slasher. Empty bins on a loop, not when they are full.
- Burned patties are self-inflicted bosses. The grill timer is the real enemy; see the recipes page for the cooking order.
Preparation Checklist Before Day 6
- Own either Pearl or Patrick, or buy an Orb of Confusion from the Night Shop.
- Keep one repair-capable player free during the rush.
- Empty the bins before Man Ray arrives, not during the fight.
- Have the extinguisher hotkeyed or the item in a tray slot.
- Decide in advance who chases and who keeps cooking.
